The automatic sack suspension for loose pourable goods has the sack (A) laid flat with its closed end brought into an upright position around a roller deflector (7). The flat sack (A) is conveyed to the sacking pipe (25) by means of a moving and openign device (23,30). One or more deflector belts (9) are near the roller deflector (7). Each deflector belt (9) has pairs of deviating rollers (13). The sack (A) lifted from the stack of sacks (2) is transferred into a sloping position (22). ADVANTAGE - Roughly ten to twelve hundred sacks per hour can be automatically suspended for filling.
