The display device contains a throughput detector (6) for each connection point and a display device (10) connected to the detector for transferring the measured quantity data. The mobile display device is connected to the detector without wires. The detector contains or is connected to a transmitter (8) and the display contains a receiver. For two or more detectors, the transmitters send differently encoded signals which the receiver can identify. USE/ADVANTAGE - For system with centrally stored fluids, e.g. lubricant and hydraulic fluid, primarily for motor vehicle maintenance. Display position is independent of that of detectors.
