摘要 A burglar-resistant reinforcement is disclosed for the walls, doors, etc. of devices for preventing access. The reinforcement comprises elements which are difficult to cut, embedded in a metal matrix, forming a light metal matrix composite material. The embedded reinforcement component is formed by one or more non-metallic hard materials in the form of powder or fibres. The embedded component comprises 10-40 vol.% corundum, silicon carbide, boron carbide or boron nitride. The matrix metal is Mg or Al or an alloy of Mg or Al. The reinforcement material is cast directly into the hollow spaces of the bodies to be reinforced. USE/ADVANTAGE - The invention is used for the reinforcement of the walls and doors of safes, strong rooms and also for vehicle ignition and steering wheels locks. The invention claims to permit a reinforcement to be created in a simple way to any shape and dimensions.
