A health food is prepd. by (a) washing grain, e.g. wheat, soybean, adlay, etc., and medicinal herbs, e.g. ligustici radix, rehmanniae rhizoma distillata, cnidium officinale, peony etc., drying and pulverizing, (b) spraying water to the obtd. powder and steaming at 70-80 deg.C in the autoclave, (c) cooling the steamed powder at 30-40 deg.C, (d) mixing the cooled powder with 2-4 % aspergillus oryzae and aspergillus sojae, (e) fermenting the mixt. at 24-45 deg.C and 45-65 % humidity for 24 hrs to stir, and (f) re- fermenting the stirred mixt. t same condition for 20-30 hrs., drying and pulverizing to obtain the final product. |
