The sealing faces (114, 115) are abutted to define a gapless sealing interface, normally disposed in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation (20), but inclined to the axis of rotation (20) in situations where the rotary member (14) deflects radially from coincidence with the axis of rotation (20), whereby the sealing interface plane is at an angle to the perpendicular plane.
