<p>A method for disintegration of worn-out tyres provides for gripping a part of the bead (5) of the tyre (1) on the side of the gap (2) between pressing rollers (3 and 4), straightening a part of the tyre cross-section profile of the gripped part of the bead (5) and feeding the straightened part from the end of one of the pressing rollers into the gap (2). The tyre (1) during its continuous transportation through the gap (2) is cut into longitudinal strips (7) with their subsequent disintegration into separate pieces (8). In an installation implementing the proposed method a unit (9) for feeding the tyres is mounted at the end of one of the pressing rollers, and the gap (2) between the pressing rollers, and the gap (2) between the pressing rollers (3 and 4) has a zigzag shape narrowing in the direction from the feeding unit (9). Between the feeding unit (9) and the pair of pressing rollers (3 and 4) is mounted a device (11) for gripping and bending out the bead (5) of the tyre.</p> |
