PURPOSE:To improve a developing efficiency by constituting so that a residual developer on the surface of a photosensitive body is removed between developing parts in a developing device on which developing parts of plural stages are placed, and a new developer is supplied again in the developing part of the post-stage. CONSTITUTION:A residual developer which is supplied from the first developing roller 2 and turns around together with a photosensitive drum 1 in a state that a toner particle has been consumed is removed once from the surface of the photosensitive drum by a stirring roller 4. Subsequently, a new developer is supplied again to the surface of the photosensitive body by the second developing roller 3. Also, the stirring roller 4 stirs the developer when the developer remaining on the surface of the drum is removed from its surface, therefore, a dispersion of toner particles is caused in the residual developer, and its toner particles are moved toward an electrostatic latent image of the surface of the drum, and contributed to a development. A residual developer removing roller removes the residual developer from the surface of the drum. In this way, the developing efficiency is improved. |
