Equipment has a feed pipe with spray jet connected to foaming appts. and a meter for measuring out resin soln. and foam, it is also connected to a compressed air source. A number of jets at intervals are arranged at uniform distance above the refuse; they are mounted on a pipe whose length can be adjusted and which is positioned at adjustable height on a dump vehicle. The pipe is pref. made of e.g. PVC or other weldable/glueable polymer. ADVANTAGE - The system can apply aminoplastic foam in a simple, rapid manner with few personnel required. It can apply a coating with uniform thickness at any time.
