<p>A dual lumen gastric tube (10) including a valve (20) to prevent gastric reflux or leakage through the vent lumen (13) thereof. The gastric tube (10) also includes an adaptor (21) which allows fluid injection through the tube (10) without removing the valve (20). The valve (20) allows the passage of air into the vent lumen (13) when atmospheric pressure exceeds stomach pressure. When stomach pressure exceeds atmospheric pressure the valve (20) prevents flow of fluid through the tube (10). The adaptor (21) allows fluid to be injected into the vent lumen (13) through the valve (20).</p> |
