The free pointed tips (13.1) of the staple are set off-centre on the free end of the arms (11,12) which are to be driven in. At the free ends the tips are pref. offset towards opposite sides. An inclined face (14.1,14.2) can adjoin the off-centre tips. These tips can be arranged eccentrically offset mirror-symmetrical to a plane of symmetry running across the staple plane. USE/ADVANTAGE - When driving the staple arms into the workpiece the arms run inclined to provide greater fastening strength than if they run straight.
