Compounds of formula (I) and salts and prodrugs thereof wherein, Q is optionally substituted phenyl, heteroaryl or naphthyl; X and Y are each H, C1-6 alkyl, C2-6 alkenyl or X and Y are together =O; Z is O or S; R<1> is H, optionally substituted C1-6 alkyl, optionally substituted phenyl(C1-4 alkyl), C2-6 alkylene, COC1-6 alkylhalo, COR, COOR, CONHR, COC1-6alkylNRR or CONRC1-6alkylCONRR; R<2> is substituted C1-6 alkyl, optionally substituted phenyl(C1-4 alkyl), C2-6 alkylene, C1-6alkylhalo, COR, COOR, CONHR, COC1-6alkylNRR or CONRC1-6alkylCONRR; or R<1> and R<2> together form a chain (CH2)p optionally substituted by oxo; R<3> is H or C1-6 alkyl; R<4> is H, C1-6 alkyl or phenyl; and R<5> is optionally substituted (CH2)qphenyl; are tachykinin antagonists useful for treating pain.
