<p>An apparatus for recording a signal on a disc medium (1) driven by a servo circuit (3) comprises a device (2, 13) for generating a laser beam for recording the signal on the disc medium (1), a circuit (4) for detecting a track jump of a scan of the disc medium (1) by the laser beam, a memory (14B) for storing the signal during the occurrence of a track jump, and a controller (16) for controlling the laser beam generating device (2, 13), the track jump detecting circuit (4) and the first memory (14B), so that a recording operation by the laser beam is stopped during the occurrence of a track jump, and the signal stored in the first memory (14B) is recorded on a predetermined area of the disc medium (1) when the record operation becomes possible again. <IMAGE></p> |
