摘要 <p>a) Automatic guiding method for an earth moving machine. b) Method characterised in that: - the tool is mounted on the chassis of the machine in order to be able to vary its position, - the coordinates xi, yi, zi are calculated in an orthonormal tridimensional system Oxyz of points of the carriageway, which are equally spaced apart by one kilometre, corresponding to the theoretical position of the tool during the manufacture of the latter, and are introduced into the memory of a microprocessor connected to the machine, - directional wires are used to guide the machine in the x-O-y plane, - during this displacement, the position xi, yi of the tool in the x-O-y plane is measured continuously, and this data is transmitted to the microprocessor which determines, in return, the corresponding zi altimetry, - a beam is emitted, in particular a rotating laser beam describing a plane of reference essentially parallel to the carriageway whose equation is calculated before introduction into the memory of the microprocessor, - at least one receiver interacting with a telescopic mast, in particular vertical, is fastened to the chassis of the machine, which receiver is interlocked in order to remain constantly in the plane of reference, and - the position of the tool with respect to the chassis of the machine as well as the length of the telescopic mast is transmitted permanently to the microprocessor which calculates the altimetric position zl of the receiver from the equation of the plane of reference, deduces from it the actual altimetry z of the tool and modifies, if required, in return the position of the latter with respect to the chassis of the machine, in order to match (bring into coincidence) the actual z and theoretical zi altimetries). &lt;IMAGE&gt;</p>
