An arrangement for delivering solid fuel, particularly wood chips, comprises a container-type vessel for the fuel, designed for transport by means of a load shunter, which container is provided with a discharge opening 38 at one end and a scraper unit 31,33 at the base 28 of the container which moves back and forth along the container's longitudinal axis for discharging the fuel through the said opening. This scraper unit includes a longitudinal beam 31 and several long transverse scraping devices 33 fixed to the beam, and is arranged to be driven by a hydraulic cylinder 35 fitted beneath the base 28 of the container and connected to the scraper unit by means of a mechanism 37 which extends through an opening in the container's base 28. <IMAGE> |
