PURPOSE:To solubilize a germanium compound in water, by diluting a feed honey or saccharide with water containing germanium, feeding the diluted honey to bee groups, and collecting the honey or royal jelly thereof. CONSTITUTION:A feed honey or saccharide is diluted with water containing germanium to prepare a honey containing the germanium, which is then fed to bee groups. Honey or royal jelly is collected to give a honeybee product. For example, germanium dioxide of the hexagonal system is dissolved in water, and mixed with a honey. The germanium dioxide is soluble in water in an amount of about 4g/l of water, and preferably very readily by boiling the water. The water containing the germanium is mixed with a raw honey, and the honey can only be heated to several tens of degreees deg.C without fear of deteriorating the quality of the honey. |
