In the hydrophore or corresp. pressure container the air/gas in it is circulated, and the hydrophore is partly filled with water in a closed system. A filter is incorporated with active carbon as effective substance, and the radon emitted from the water is adsorbed in the filter, causing the radon content in the water to be reduced. The process is then repeated. The air/gas contained in the hydrophore is recirculated through the filter by means of a gas pump or similar in a closed system via a coil outside the hydrophore. The feed of water to the hydrophore is in an upward direction through a nozzle or similar, which effectively aerates the water, thus accelerating the emission of radon from the water. |
