<p>Successively, a capacitor (1) is firstly charged through a first reference resistor (5), by a variable-impedance generator (3), over a length of time which is measured, the capacitor (1) is left to discharge, the capacitor (1) is charged a second time, through the resistor to be measured (6) over a period of time which is measured, and, in order to get round the internal impedance of the generator, the capacitor (1) is charged a third time through a second reference resistor (7) over a period of time which is measured. The value of the resistor to be measured (6) is derived from the three charging times, the capacitor (1) only being charged once through the resistor to be measured (6). The invention applies well to determining the external temperature on board a vehicle. <IMAGE></p> |
