Flame-retardant thermoplastic composition including: A) a styrene polymer; B) a poly(phenylene)ether; C) a sufficient quantity to give flame-resistant properties, classifiable at least in group V2, according to the UL-94 method, of a synergetic mixture including (i) red phosphorous and (ii) an inorganic compound containing phosphorous and nitrogen; and D) possibly, an anti-dripping agent. t
