These compounds may be used in medicine. They have a hypotensive and β-blocking action and a common formula<IMAGE>,where R is a cycloalkyl radical with 5 to 8 carbon atoms, R1 is alkyl with a branched chain, containing between 2 and 6 carbon atoms, and X is alkyl with 1 to 6 carbon atoms, with a straight or branched chain, phenyl or low phenyl alkyl. They are derived by interacting amino alcohols (with a formula),<IMAGE>and aldehydes (with a formula XCHO), in which R, R1 and X take the designated values, at a mol proportion of amino alcohol to aldehyde 1:2, in a medium of benzol.
