COMPOSITION FOR ALKALINE COTTON MATERIAL CREPING

The composition is applicable in the textile industry. It improves the craping effect and the operational stability, and reduces the destruction of the cellulose material. The composition contains (in g/kg): sodium hydroxide - 300-400, carboxymethyl starch - 100-120, aliphatic alcohol with length of the C4-C6 hydrocarbon chain between 5 and 20, and water - up to 1 kg. The cotton fabric is printed with the composition and is left to stay in free condition for 20 to 30 minutes at room temperature and after that it is washed with warm and cold water without stretching.
