The installation according to the invention includes means for handling a permeable receptacle (10) which contains the components to be cleaned in order to displace the receptacle from a loading and unloading station (12) into a cleaning zone which comprises a washing, rinsing and drying station consisting, essentially, of a cover (20) which extends above the receptacle (10) and which includes incorporated washing, rinsing and drying means consisting of orifices or nozzles, the cover being connected alternately to a source of washing product (74), to a source of rinsing product (50) or to a source of hot air (46), and which comprises a degreasing station (52) arranged below the principle working station (16), the liquids employed for the washing, degreasing and rinsing operations being recycled in a single recycling circuit (66) arranged downstream of a recovery tank (60) and upstream of a storage tank (74). <IMAGE>
