Method of producing a double-walled shaft, pressure-tight up to an intended test pressure, in particular for a burner-heated hot-water appliance, in which the two walls 7, 8 of the shaft are tightly connected to one another in the marginal regions of the walls. In order to permit simple production of such a shaft, provision is made for the interior space between the shaft walls which are connected to one another to be loaded with a pressure above the intended test pressure and for the walls to be plastically deformed in the process. <IMAGE> |
