PURPOSE:To provide a sugar-coated tablet containing enteral useful bacteria, especially lactic acid bacteria, capable of allowing the bacteria to stably live in the sugar-coated tablet considered to have a bad survival environment and permitting to simultaneously use the bacteria together with other agents. CONSTITUTION:An enteral useful bacterium-containing sugar-coated tablet having the above-mentioned activities, useful in fields of drugs, foods, etc., and prepared by sugar-coating a raw tablet comprising (A) enteral useful bacteria, preferably lactic acid bacteria, especially Streptococcus.faecalis and (B) one or more stabilizers selected from polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium polyacrylate and sodium alginate. The stabilizer is compounded in an amount of 1-30wt.%, preferably 1.2-15wt.%, based on the sugar coated tablet, and can be further compounded with an intestinal disorder- preventing agent or stegnotic such as acrinol, berberine chloride or loperamide as a drug capable of being used together with the enteral useful bacteria. |
