PURPOSE:To eliminate respective crushing/grading processes at the time when a freezing/drying agent is filled into a filling vessel, and also to enhance the drying efficiency. CONSTITUTION:The lumps of a freezing/drying agent inside a freezing/drying vessel are directly filled into a filling vessel. The outside of the bottom of the freezing/drying vessel is made in a plane shape and the inside of the bottom thereof is made approximately in a hemispherical shape, and easily separable coating treatment is applied to the inside, and the plug 12 is provided with a projection 32 (not shown) by which it can be positioned in a half-plugged condition and with cut-out parts 34 (not shown) for sublimating the liquid inside the vessel under the condition that the plug is half-plugged, or the like.
