Bone-substitute consists of a three-dimensional supporting frame of elementary bodies, which are connected to one another and enclose defined interspaces, and of a coating compsn. which consists of resorbable fillers comprising solid Ca cpds. and a resorbable binder matrix. The supporting frame is built up of filaments of resorbable organic polymers having thickness 50-300 micron and fitted with elementary bodies and/or of non-resorbable filaments or wires having thickness 100-750 micron and/or of a very dense three-dimensional packing of elementary bodies of given size.
