Polyester differential shrinkage blended yarn is composed of high- shrinkage portion and low-shrinkage portion. The high- shrinkage portion has max. heat-shrinkage stress at the normal temp. above 0.45 g/d, heat-shrinkage stress at 70 deg.C above 0.2 g/d, under the load of 0.05 g/d respectively, dry-heat shrinkage rate difference shown in (I) (where Shi; shrinkage rate of high- shrinkage portion after shrinking at 180 deg.C dry-heat for 20 min. under the load of 0.05 g/d, Slo; shrinkage rate of low- shrinkage portion shrinking on the same condition as above) above 10 %, fineness ratio shown in (II) (where Dhi; monofilament fineness of high-shrinkage port; on, Dlo; monofilament fineness of low- shrinkage portion) above 2.
