The food compatible shelf has posts for height-adjustable racks, each L-shaped at the edges and excised at the corners for the posts. The hollow, rectangular posts are flanged to bear on the angled parts of the respective racks, and free brackets, with bolt holes thrust against the angled racer parts from inside. At its inside edge (4) each post profile (2,2a) forms a T-shaped groove (6), which is open to one side to take a hexagon bolt head (7,8). The bolt shaft (9) is led through the hole in the bracket (10,11) to pull it tight onto the insides of the rack edges (12,3) by a nut (14) and fitted washer (15). The component are preferably of steel or aluminium. USE/ADVANTAGE - For meat processing establishments etc., with steplessly adjustable racks and sufficient stability.
