Disassembly equipment for combustible cartridge cases - having blade to separate casing cover from casing and held in displaceable guide

The propellant charge case (12) has a casing (14) and a casing cover (15) attached to the projectile (11). It includes a blade (21) used to separate the casing cover from the casing. The blade is held in a holding and guiding device (22) and is longitudinally displaceable towards the rotating casing. USE/ADVANTAGE - The equipment is used for disassembling cartridges with combustible cases, esp. for conversion of live tank munition into training munition. It allows opening of the propellant charge case without material losses, so that the case can be re-assembled without dimensional changes and the propellant powder is not contaminated by turnings.
