PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device forming an image by using plural light sources and capable of forming the image so far as all light sources are not incapable of operating. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device to form the image by using plural light sources is provided with a detecting means 29 to detect the emitting state of plural light sources and an image forming means to form the image by using only the normal light sources when the detecting means 29 judges that the emitting state of the light sources 25 are abnormal. The image forming means is realized by, for example, having plural scanning speeds and switching the speed, having the plural paper feeding speeds of the image forming device and switching the speed, switching data given to each light beam for forming the image, or also, providing an adjusting means 1301 to adjust the spot diameter of the light beam. |
