<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a card which is superior in thermal efficiency without bending and capable of printing with small energy by layering a magnetic recording layer, a metal thin film layer and a resistance layer in turn on a substrate body. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic card 41 is formed by layering the magnetic recording layer 43, the metal thin film layer 44 and the resistance layer 45 of transparency or semitransparency in turn on the card substrate body 42 made of a resin. When this magnetic card 41 is to be printed, the card 41 is inserted from an inserting and ejecting hole 12, and is detected by a 4th position sensor 35, and when the number of encoder pulses reaches a target value for deciding a printing commencing position, a solenoid 29 is operated, and a stylus head 28 is brought into contact with the card 41 so as to perform printing. In this case, since the resistance layer 45 and the metal thin film layer 44 are layered, the metal thin film layer 44 can efficiently be heat-broken by conducting partially the resistance layer 45, and the printing can be performed by small energy without necessity of bending the card.</p> |
