The housing (12), forming the chamber (10), has one end wall (14) contg. the first supply bore (16) and first discharge bore (18), and another end wall (20), contg. second such bores (22, 24). A first membrane (26) extends parallel to one end wall and a second membrane (28) parallel to the other. The chamber contains the movable piston (30) made of permanent magnetic material and longer than the distance between the two end walls. A first coil (32) is set in the chamber around the piston and when actuated, the piston moves selectively towards one end wall or the other into a first position, where the first membrane closes the first supply bore and/or first discharge bore, or into a second position, where the second membrane closes the second supply bore or second discharge bore. When the coil is not actuated, the piston moves into an intermediate position where the first supply bore communicates with the first discharge bore and the second supply bore with the second discharge bore.
