摘要 A non-destructive method of measuring a mechanical state and its changes involves measuring electrical, parameters. A ferromagnetic part is exposed to an a.c. current of predefined frequency and the voltage drop across individual partial regions measured. The dimensions of the region under investigation are defined by the voltage probe distance and the measurement current frequency. The flow lines of the measurement load, an external magnetic field or the test current used to generate the field. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for measuring mechanical load or stress, structural properties or magnetic parameters difficult to access.
