Foldable album for audio CD(s) - is produced in strip from thin foil formed with in=line pockets for discs

The CD album is formed using two long strips of foil material welded along the lower edge (5). Seams (6) are also formed by welding at intervals along the length to form pockets (4) large enough to receive CDs. The top edge (11) is profiled to simplify access to the discs. The end pockets are formed with side access such that, when the unit is folded along the seams (30), the unit is closed. The album is produced from thin flexible material, e.g. plastics, paper or leather. An alternative version has studs set into the outer edges such that the closed unit is held together. ADVANTAGE - Space saving.
