<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of harness and to simplify the structure of harnes without causing the operation of vehicles due to a fault of an operation switch by providing a switch function revision circuit to eliminate the need for an exclusive spare switch. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed electric device 7 having an important function and its operation switch 3 are connected to a multiplex transmission line 2 as nodes N1,N2. When the important function switch 3 is faulty, a fault detection circuit 12 detects it and sends identification representing the result of detection to the transmission line 2 via an interface circuit 11. When a node N4 having a low function switch receives the fault signal, a switch function circuit 16 is used to revise a function of the low function switch 4 connecting to its own node into a function of the important function switch 3. Thus, the structure of harness is simplified without causing any hindrance to the operation of vehicles when the switch is faulty without provision of an exclusive spare switch.</p> |
