PURPOSE:To provide a corner protector made of corrugated cardboard and small in size, simple in structure, high in strength, free from pollution and inexpensive to produce to permit its use as the corner protecting unit in packaging a square article. CONSTITUTION:Bending lines 2 are provided on a flat corrugated cardboard 1 relatively smaller than the outer covering of a package along the three radial lines of the two lines intersecting at right angles in a nearly central point thereof. A cutting slit 3 is provided along the one radial line to form four divided faces of the flat cardboard to use both the side faces of the cutting slit 3 as a flap plate 4 and the one side of each of a plurality of the divided faces including at least the flap plate 4 is provided with a weak adhesive glue layer 5 difficult to be contaminated with the excessive glue and a strippable paper 6. |
