PURPOSE:To obtain the title refractory stabilized and time-shortened in the execution therefor and improved in its storage characteristics by decreasing the diameter of capsules containing a curing agent serving as binder for refractory aggregates and by specifying the capsules' film thickness. CONSTITUTION:Each microcapsule containing a curing agent is so designed as to be <=500mu in size and >=10% of the diameter in the film thickness and also as not to crush during its kneading but crush at >=50 deg.C. Paraffin, polyethyl methacrylate, or resol-type phenolic resin can be used as a coating agent for such curing agent. Thereby, the curing agent can be protected from discharging and/or reaction during kneading even in summer, and curing can be made under a condition of low moisture generation at 50-100 deg.C. Thus, the present monolithic refractory can be cured quickly without causing cracks, and also stored for a long period of time. |
