<p>PURPOSE:To provide a protective device for protecting the threads on pipe end excellent in strength and rigidity and disposable by an incinerator. CONSTITUTION:A method for producing a protective molding 4 which comprises using the material consisting of 30wt.% fibrilated polyethylene, 15 wt.% polyolefin (polypropylene as core material and vinyl acetate as covering material) and 55wt.% phosphorylated pulp; mixing and stirring the material and beating it to 11 degrees; rendering 0.5% aqueous solution of the resulting material to pulp form by paper making method; drying this material at a temp. of 80 deg.C to reduce its water content to 8% so as to make a sheet-like material; heating the sheet-like material to a temp. of 180 deg.C and kneading it; introducing the material 3 into a lower metal die 1; forcing an upper metal die 2 under heat into the lower metal die 1; and molding the material under a pressure of 15-30kg/cm<2>.</p> |
