METHOD FOR DETECTING POSITION DETECTING ABNORMALITY OF AC MOTOR

PURPOSE:To simply perform abnormality detection inclusive a position detecting circuit and a commutation signal detector. CONSTITUTION:The angles of rotation obtained from the position detecting means 2, 4, 5, 6 of an AC motor I are compared with the patterns of the commutation signals obtained from a commutation signal detector 3 and it is judged whether the patterns correspond to the angles of rotation to detect position detecting abnormality. Further, patterns on both sides of the patterns of the commutation signals are stored and it is judged whether the patterns of the commutation signals transit correctly at the time of transition to detect the detection abnormality of the commutation signals.
