Next to the seating surface on the seat plate (4) are two operating buttons, one of which controls when pressed the upwards movement of the seat and the other the downwards movement. The hydraulic lift arrangement has a connection for the water conduit (9) and the operating buttons (5,6) are connected directly to two valves (7,8), of which the one is connected between the water conduit and the hose cylinder (3) and the other between the lift arrangement and a free outlet (14). On both sides of the seat plate (4) are articulatedly connected side parts. The two operating buttons are arranged one behind the other on a line running parallel to the link axis of the side parts.
