PURPOSE:To realize further flattening of a panel by restricting projections from the panel surface created when Hg getters are fitted into the panel. CONSTITUTION:Through holes penetrating a rear panel 1 or both panels of the rear panel 1 and a front panel 3 are provided, and Hg getters 6 are fitted into the through holes 2a and 2b. Afterwards, a transparent sealing cap 9 is put on the through holes 2a and 2b from outside so as to be sealed up airtightly through low melting point sealing glass 7. |
