PURPOSE:To improve engine stop resistance and idle stability by eliminating an intake delay of air and realizing control of good responsiveness, in the case of idle speed control by adjusting bypass air. CONSTITUTION:A bypass air supply device 18 for controlling an idle speed of a rotary piston engine 1 is constituted of a bypass passage 19 branched from the upstream of a throttle valve 16 to open a passage outlet to an operating chamber 4a at intake stroke time and a flow control valve 20 of duty solenoid type provided on the halfway of this bypass passage 19 to control a bypass air amount. In the bypass passage 19, for instance, a boost tank 21 is provided immediately upstream of the flow control valve 20. |
