<p>PURPOSE:To simplify transmission operation and to eliminate the possibility of an erroneous dialing by reading a terminal number painted on a card with barcode, etc., and to automatically perform facsimile transmission to the terminal. CONSTITUTION:On a namecard 5, a facsimile terminal number (FAX 03-123-7890) is printed along with a barcode. A barcode reader 1 reads a barcode 6 from the set namecard 5 and inputs it to an code conversion part 2. The code conversion part 2 converts the inputted barcode 11 into a call receiving terminal number data 12 and transmits it to a transmission control part 3, and the transmission control part 3 transmits data to a terminal having call receiving terminal number data 12 and performs facsimile communication. In this case, the barcode 6 was read with the barcode reader 1, however, the facsimile terminal number (FAX 03-123-7890) may be read from the namecard by means of an image reader.</p> |
