SAFETY DEVICE FOR POWER SOURCE SWITCH

PURPOSE:To prevent a failure from being generated in an information processor such as a work station due to an erroneous operation of a power source switch. CONSTITUTION:A power source switch starts a device while an automatic power-off circuit stops the device by means of a software command. The automatic power-off circuit comprises the power source switch 1 having an electronic contact disconnecting function and a contact disconnecting circuit 33. An openable cover 4 is fixed so as to prevent erroneous turning-off of the power source switch 1 by an operator. It is possible to prevent a failure from being generated in an information processor due to an erroneous operation of the power source switch.
