PURPOSE:To allow the direct formation of a color proof having high image quality without via a list film from digital image data by executing exposing, developing and removing stages by using a photosensitive material provided with a photosensitive polymerizable layer and a release sheet. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material provided with the photosensitive polymerizable layer 12 contg. a silver halide 13, a reducing agent 14, a polymerizable compd. 15, and color agents 16 on a base 1 and the release sheet are used. The photosensitive polymerizable layer 12 is subjected to image exposing (exposing stage). The photosensitive polymerizable layer 12 is provided to selectively cure the polymerizable compd. 15 in the exposed or non-exposed parts (developing stage). After the release sheet is brought into tight contact with the surface of the photosensitive polymerizable layer, the sheet is peeled to selectively stick the uncured or cured parts onto the release sheet and is removed from the photosensitive polymerizable layer 12, by which the colored images are formed (removing stage). |
