REWRITABLE BAR CODE DISPLAY BODY, METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ITS PROCESSING, AND BAR CODE READ METHOD

PURPOSE:To obtain bar code display which is very vivid on the boundaries between bar code pictures and ground parts and is superior in durability and to present a rewritable display body and its processing method and device. CONSTITUTION:A printing system, thermosensitive paper, a heat transfer ribbon, or the like is used to show the conventional bar code display. It cannot be rewritten. The bar code display formed by the printing system has a fault of a high cost though being vivid. The bar code display formed with thermosensitive paper and the heat transfer ribbon is not sharp on boundaries between bar pictures and the other ground parts to cause a read error sometimes. With respect to this bar code display body, a thermosensitive recording layer 12 whose transparency is reversibly changed by temperature is provided on a supporting body 11 directly or with a reflection layer or a coloring layer 14 between them. It is preferable that the reversible thermosensitive recording layer 12 is made of materials where organic low polymer matters are dispersed in a resin base matter.
