PURPOSE:To offer a selective indication device for parts-storing box by which the work for shifting the storing position of a parts-storing box stored in a storing room of a parts-shelf can be carried out simply and with good workability and by which no error is made in parts-installation. CONSTITUTION:In order to ease the parts-assembling work to a partially fabricated item, the system by this invention is provided with a host computer 13, a controlling means 15, and an infrared transmitter 16 in addition to infrared receives 20, 20', 20'' and indication lamps 21, 21', 21'' which are installed in parts-storing boxes 18, 18', 18'' accommodated in a storing room of a parts-shelf 2, respectively. The infrared rays transmitted from the transmitter is received by the receiver. Owing to the receiver, only the indication lamp of a parts- storing box, which contains the parts designated to be installed on the partially fabricated item being carried by a belt conveyor 1, is turned on, so that only the parts in the parts-storing box indicated by the indication lamp are used. |
