PURPOSE:To provide a sound effect application effect in an electronic musical instrument, which can exhibit a wow effect even for pickings which are successively carried out within a short time. CONSTITUTION:A picking determining block 13 compares an input musical note signal with a threshold value, and if it determines that there is presented picking, the variables of a low pass filter 13-3 for extracting an envelope of is changed so that the frequency characteristic is shifted into a high range. A value corresponding to this change in the envelope is applied as a filter coefficient to a wow filter 13-5 so as to obtain a predetermined wow effect. |
