<p>PURPOSE:To easily provide a unit cell of an integrated fused salt type fuel cell never forming a clearance between an electrode and an electrolyte holding body by conducting hot cladding after forming the unit cell of the fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:After an electrolyte holding body 1, an anode electrode 2, and a cathode electrode 3 are separately formed into determined shapes, they are positioned and superposed on a pressing machine in the order of the cathode electrode 3, the electrolyte holding body 1 and the anode electrode 2 to form a unit cell of a fuel cell. Then, the temperature of the unit cell is raised until it exceeds the softening point of an organic binder contained in the holding body 1. Pressurization is conducted simultaneously with the temperature rise to integrate the electrodes 2, 3 with the holding body 1. Thus, the unit cell of the fuel cell which is a highly adhesive electrode-electrolyte holding body integrated product having no clearance between the electrodes and the electrolyte holding body and having a determined shape can be easily manufactured.</p> |
