The invention comprises a process and the arrangement of processing components to separate a fibre web. The invention is used in spinning works preparation machines used to processing fibre webs. According to the invention, the fibre web is separated in a web guide channel through the difference in feed rate between pairs of drive rollers (5, 6) and the calender rollers (10) without additional separating devices.
