PURPOSE:To provide the title brick excellent in corrosion resistance to low-basic slag. CONSTITUTION:The objective brick can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100 pts.wt. of a composition comprising (1) 5-30wt.% of flaky graphite, (2) 0.5-10wt.% of iron oxide, (3) 1-15wt.% of at least one kind of substance selected from metallic chromium, chromium carbide and ferrochromium, and (4) the balance sintered or fused magnesia with (B) 0.5-5wt.%, on an outer basis, of at least one kind of metallic powder selected from silicon, metallic aluminum and aluminum-magnesium alloy. |
